Gorenjska.bike is an automated bike system in the municipalities of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Jesenice, Naklo, Radovljica, Škofja Loka, Tržič, Bled and Kranj.
There are more than 50 stations in the Gorenjska.bike system, and more than 351 bicycles are available. In Kranj, the subsystem is called KRSKOLESOM, in Jesenice it is called JeseNICE bikes, and in Škofja Loka it is called Ekoloka. Users can rent or return the bike at any station of the Gorenjska.bike system.
Registration in the system is required for use. Users can log in to the system either through the Gorenjska.bike website or through the MOBILN.SI smartphone application. Payment for the service is possible with credit cards (Activa, Diners, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron), via mobile payment (mBills, VALÚ Moneta) or via the online bank (NLB Klik).
Upon registration, the user receives a username and password, which is not transferable. Any natural person over 14 years of age can become a user. Every docking station has a self-service terminal, bike docks, and bikes. The system is easy to use, and it only takes a few moments to hire or return a bike. When returning the bike, the user pushes it into the dock and checks whether the return was successful. A blue light on the dock will show that the bike has been returned successfully. The system operates from March to November.
Rental price list
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. The bicycle use time is 840 minutes per week, and the time availability for weekly system use can be used continuously by the user or scheduled.
